Torah Bright – the 2010 Olympic Ladies Halfpipe Gold medalist, is arguably the best known female snowboarder in the World today.
Her ultra progressive, technical riding both in the halfpipe and on the slopestyle course have won her much acclaim as well as many competitions.
Torah has grown up sliding around on the snow. She started off life in Australia on a pair of skis but soon took to snowboarding and by 1999 was already a part of the Roxy Team.
As a teenager she competed and often won, against the best ladies in the World and it was a natural progression for her to continue to the very top.
In 2010 Torah Won the Gold Medal at the Vancouver Olympics in the halfpipe event.
Together with the TTR World Tour title she won in 2007, this firmly cements her place at the top of female freestyle snowboarding.
Coupled with the fact that Torah is one of the most approachable and friendly people you are ever likely to meet and the fact that she is also extremely beautiful, this makes her a very firm favourite with the press and public alike.
Torah lives for adventure, challenge and fun!
She loves to set herself high goals and likes nothing better than the feeling she gets when she stomps a new trick.
She also loves to look good and has a great fashion sense.
Torah was the first Roxy rider to launch a signature line and has led the snow fashion world with her eye for funky colours and pretty prints.
Last year Torah took a season off from competition so she could focus on pushing her limits in the backcountry and on film and photoshoots.
This year, she is back on the contest tour.
Revived and inspired by some great powder riding she will set her bar high.
